CONTAINERISED Mobile Pressure Testing Unit- General Description/Features
Designed for land-based, safe area use.
Equipped to pressurize control equipment up to nominal 4 1/16” bore.
Equipped with Real-Time Electronic Chart recorder online service, credible non manipulated system.
Maximum test pressure of 15,000 psi and sample flasks to a maximum test pressure of 24,000 psi.
The test bay area is lined with replaceable impact – absorbing panels on walls, end doors and roof. “Explosion proof container”
The operator controls testing from a cabin within the container which is separated and protected from the test bay area. There is no window into the test bay area. Visibility is provided by a CCTV system which incorporates a recording facility.
The PTU is ASEP Elmar, Certified and approved by DNV (Maxsafe), which provides 24,000psi test capability.
Access to loading the equipment into the test bay area is provided by double doors at one end of the container
Craneage (1T.) is provided within the test bay to handle equipment which is to be tested/repaired.
A landing area is provided at the doors to allow landing/ uplift of equipment by forklift or similar.
The personnel escape hatch is provided at the rear of the test bay area.
Electrically driven air conditioning is provided in the operator and test bay/workshop areas.
Fluorescent electric lighting is provided in the test bay, work, and operator areas.
Electric power outlets are provided in the work area
Automatically operated flashing beacons are provided to mount to the outside of the container
Service connections are provided in externally accessible panels for compressed air inlet, 220V AC and 110V AC electrical inlets, and electrical outlets for the flashing beacons.

The equipment’s subjected to be pressure tested on this container are mainly covering all Drilling/Work over/Wireline/Well test/Coil Tubing Pressure WCE’s equipments. but not limited to what is described here, the example given here is mainly focused on Drilling/Workover rigs:

This unit will normally operate on top of the wheels as easy and convenient to carry out all pressure test activities on clients premises with the aim of minimizing/eliminating:
